Our Story
If you can believe it, we actually grew up in the same neighbourhood of Colonial Acres! Dana truly was the girl next door. Although we went to all the same elementary, middle, and highschool, we did not become friends until well after graduation through mutual friends.
We started dating on June 25, 2022. Yes, you will recognize this date as the date of our wedding! We got engaged one year later when Jack proposed in the beautiful city of Copenhagen, Denmark.
That summer we also purchased our first home together! Since then we have been enjoying living together and look forward to this next step in our lives.
Ceremony
Our ceremony will be held at Faith Lutheran Church located in Kitchener starting at 2pm. This location holds great significance as it is where Jack's mother, Jo, was married.
The ceremony will be officiated by Reverend Warren Hamp.
Venue
After the ceremony, transportation will take those from out of country to the beautiful Hauser Hall located in Heidelberg aroud 3:30pm. This beautiful venue was once an 1800's church, since renovated and operated by the Hauser family.
The reception and cocktail hour will be held on the upper floor, and the rest of the evening including dinner will commence downstairs.

Event Details
This dress code is formal/black tie-optional. Jack isn't wearing a tuxedo so you don't have to either. Keep in mind the weather will likely be warm. You are also encouraged to dress the theme colour, which is lavender.
Transportation will be arranged for guests from out of country the ceremony to the venue. Transportation will also be arranged back to the ceremony site at the closing of the evening.
We want our wedding to reflect who we are! You can therefore expect a typical North American wedding with some twists. For instance, we will not be having a dancefloor. Instead, the night will be spent playing trivia while enjoying smørrebrød. We will not be doing parent dances, clinking glasses, or cutting a cake.
